Ryoko is a college student in Japan.
She loves traveling and experiencing local cultures.
Since she has traveled foreign countries for many times, she could see how different and special the Japanese traditions are, and it made her proud of the Japanese traditional culture.
Now she is passionate about Japanese culture and creating Japanese traditional craft “Mizuhiki” which is an ancient Japanese art form that uses a special cord made by Washi.
As she loves Japanese tradition, she was extremely excited to take part in this project as a model.
She loved all of the clothes she wore at the photo shooting.
She hopes that the Japanese kimono will be recognized more, and be worn by people from different cultures.
